Trek the enchanting "Sierra de Aracena" in the Spanish province of Huelva, Andalucia - perfect to enjoy a horse riding holiday.

We organize treks here in the national park, consisting of five days of traveling around the Sierra, with four to six hours in the each day, riding along the ancient and beautiful track ways and visiting the picturesque white villages, almost never seeing a motor vehicle.

We offer accommodation in various welcoming and comfortable country houses as well as a menu of the authentic regional cuisine. Our riding routes include the village of Jabugo, famous throughout Spain for its fantastic "pata negra" cured ham products.

The routes follow country tracks and pathways or open countryside. On our rides you will visit old tracks and ancient drover's roads, forest of cork oak and open heathland, discovering a world of great ecological interest.

We pass through several of the charming mountain villages stopping to enjoy the local "tapas" as well as a glass or two of wine. Each day we stop in the countryside for lunch, brought by vehicle to our rest halt.

"Picadero la Suerte" (The lucky Stables) is located in the Heart of the national park of "Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche", in Huelva province, western Andulasia.

Here relax and enjoy nature's wonderful vistas. A choice of horse riding, touring by 4 x 4 car, mountain bike riding or simply be an "ecotourist" in the Sierra.

You can choose anything, between excursions of one hour or journeys of up to several days where you are accommodated in "La Suerte" a comfortable house situated at the stables themselves. It consists of four double bedrooms, bathroom, toilet, living-dining room with fireplace and television, kitchen area with fridge, microwave and washing machine.

We cater for a maximum of 10 and a minimum of 4 people on each trip.
