This magnificent ride traverses through dramatic landscapes beginning in the desert outside Jodhpur (where the famous Jodhpur Lancers came from), traversing through sandy dry riverbeds, acacia forest, and rocky mountains until finally reaching the high Aravalli mountain ranges.

We stop at romantic old fort palaces and walk through old mural lined alleyways. You can see the black buck, the blue bull, gazelle, the rare gray wolf, languor monkey, as well as wonderful bird life including pelicans and flamingos.

Our final objective is the ancient marble temples of Ranakpur and the Kumbalgarh Fort. With a 36km radius, 3,000ft (1,000 m) above the plains, the fort is reached after traversing through the Kumbalgarh Sanctuary. An additional highlight is a sojourn at Udaipur, city of the Lake Palace.
