The Hadoti Ride goes through one of Rajasthan's most scenic areas on the border of the densely forested state of Madhya Pradesh (British India's Central Provinces), beginning in the ancient kingdom of Bundi. It is interesting to note that the Bundi fortress with its ramparts below, until recently, still shut its medieval gates to outsiders at nightfall.
The adventure ends at the renowned Ranthambhor Tiger Reserve. With an ancient 12th century forest fort, lakes with Sambhar stag wallowing within, marsh mugger crocodile snaking in and out of the ancient "jheels" (lakes), and jungle palaces, the Hadoti Ride is one of the most romantic adventures available in the Indian Sub Continent.
