Itinerary:
Day 1: On arrival at Sydney airport you will be met and transferred to Peppers Guest House Retreat. Peppers Guest House is nestled discreetly in the vineyards of the Hunter Valley offering superb food, award winning wines and genuine country hospitality. Overnight: Peppers Guest House Retreat.
Day 2: This morning you will be picked up for your full day wine tour of the famous Hunter Valley, one of Australia's most celebrated wine regions. Established in the early 1800's the Hunter Valley was the first commercial wine producing area in Australia. Bordered to the east by the sea and by rugged mountain ranges, the Hunter Valley has developed a tradition for fine hospitality. Elegant Victorian buildings reflect the prosperity of the early settlers. Sample some wonderful wines and enjoy a relaxing lunch at the Seasons Restaurant at The Hunter Valley Lodge before returning to Peppers Guest House. Overnight: Peppers Guest House Retreat.
Day 3: This morning depart Peppers and transfer to Muswellbrook Information Center where you will meet your specialized guide for the next 2 days. This afternoon visit the magnificent Arrowfield Stud in the beautiful Segenhoe Valley. Arrowfield is the home of Flying Spur and Snippets. Continue to Segenhoe Inn, and visit the Rosemount Winery, the jewel in the crown of the upper Hunter Wineries, famous worldwide. A visit to the Scone Racecourse and Equine Research Center will be a highlight. It is a new state-of-the-art racecourse that outshines any in Australia. It's truly something different when it comes to race courses. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight: Beltrees Country House.
Day 4: This morning your guide will take you on a wonderful experience. Visit Woodlands Thoroughbred Stud, one of the most magnificent operations you would see anywhere in the world. Here you will see magnificent animals and scenery like no other. Continue to Martindale Homestead and enjoy tastings at Inglewood Vineyard, one of the most popular smaller wineries. Enjoy a visit to Royal Hotel Denman, a wonderful old Aussie Pub with great meals. Travel to Ellamara's Collections, a restored historical building. Browse through the art galleries and see Aboriginal Art. Before returning to your hotel, stop at Chesworth's Rotary Dairy and learn about one of our most important industries. Enjoy a cold glass of milk before returning to your overnight accommodation. Overnight: Beltrees Country House.
Day 5: This morning you will be transferred back to Sydney.
